The postcards were created during the siege of Sarajevo (5 Apr 1992 – 29 Feb 1996) where 13,952 people were killed, including 5,434 civilians. But people didn’t just suffer and die. They also lived, thought, loved, played music, and strived to restore the city into its righteous place in the world, the world that abandoned it so frivolously. For TRIO, the challenge was to bridge the two realities, how to reconnect what should’ve never been split apart and how to make the world face the fact that Sarajevo was actually at its centre. Bojan and Dada Hadžihalilović re-designed images, re-branded brands and re-configured the outside reality. The postcards were then sent out to the world to show that Sarajevo never left it. It was the world that left Sarajevo.

DT001 | LEVITATION | TRISTAN BRES | 2022 |
This project is a creation written by the French choreographer and director Jen-Camille Goimard from the contemporary dance company Au Delà Du Bleu, which sees dancers surrounded by projected images and visual textures.
A poetic and textural work about the air element, based on the wingsuit and base jump world. This conceptual ballet mixes dance, video mapping, projections, music and sound design. Jean-Camille Goimard worked with dancers Pierre Théoleyre and Denis Terrasse, photographer Guillaume Ducreux, Loris Gemignani on mapping, Tristan Bres on composition and sound design and Thibault Garnier for stage design.
The photographs and videos used for these projections were captured by following professionals' base jumpers during their expeditions, and reworked to create a breathtaking 3D playground for the dancers. Pierre and Denis are moving with no limitation from the ground to the air, driven by a cinematic and hypnotic soundtrack mixing acoustic piano, modular synthesiser and an immersive sound design.
